During the past summer we were preparing a small light and self-supporting decoration representing a ship's prow.
It would form part of the scenery for an open-air theatrical performance for the Festes del Mar in Castelldefels, and it had to be very easy to assemble and manipulate.
We designed a counterbalanced wooden structure to hold the front mast in position, from which the rest of the pieces were assembled, giving shape to the bow of the ship.
To simulate the wooden panels we use polyurethane plates, which once carved and textured, we paint giving a grained effect to achieve a look of wooden planks.
