Cervera Mayor's Staff of Office
Preparation and Assembly of the Mayor's Ceremonial Staff of Cervera.
The mayor's ceremonial staff is a symbol of a mayor's authority and governing role. For this project, the client commissioned us to create a scale replica of the bell tower of Cervera.
At L'ESFERA we produced a highly detailed model of the town's bell tower. Using this model, we created two versions: one in resin with a bronze patina and another cast in bronze using the lost-wax casting process. To adapt the octagonal base of the bell tower to the staff's circular shaft, we designed a custom adapter incorporating the municipal coat of arms.
Finally, we assembled all the components onto the staff and produced a custom-made presentation case specifically designed for the mayor's ceremonial staff.
